@Gazzamatta was the only one who said we will miss the finals in that thread.

Picked us as 9th everyone else had us around 4th, 5th or 6th.
I forgot to hit Post Reply on my draft response with all my predictions in that thread. Just had a look and I can confirm I predicted a 10th place finish, had Hodgson as Biggest Disappointment, Davey as Biggest Signing and pretty much everything else spot on...

The only one I was off the mark on was JA Best Retention.... dunno what I was smoking on that one..... but anyway, all the boo'ing mean girls caused his exit so I'll give myself a pass there too..... stay tuned for my 2024 predictions!!

Nathan Peats played 36 mins with a broken neck while playing for Parramatta.

That type of sacrifice will never be forgotten from my point of view.

Others may have other opinions of peatsy.

But I am sure if he stayed fit and wasn't forced out due to salary cap he would go down as one toughest dummy halves to play for us.

Had a bit of the Kaysa Pritchard's about him before even Kaysa Pritchard was a thing in that he was completely kamikaze and lacked self preservation and luck (most of all).... could have been a much different career....

P.S - IMO one of the other blokes who played #9 for us in years past who I don't think ever really gets the recognition he deserved is Aaron Raper. Thought he was a really good servant for us...

Raper was before my time.

If I was to rate top 5 dummy halves for us on performance since 2000 that i have seen.

1 - Brad Drew
2 - Reed Mahoney
3 - Mark Riddell
4 - PJ Marsh
5 - Nathan Peats

Honourable mention to John Morris and then Kevin Kingston for his role in the 2009 GF run.

Unfortunately I couldn't squeeze Josh Hodgson in though.

And his reward was to be booted from the club like a leper. Good old players coach Brad.
