Drown definitely isn’t playing the same role as Moses. Gutherson’s role is different as well since round three. The problem isn’t that Drown is wearing 7 or our tactics are no good. The simple fact is we’ve lost our most important player. The Panthers got belted without Cleary on the weekend as well. You don’t replace these merkins, you cover as best you can and limp along until they’re back.

Was Brett Kenny an organising half when Sterlo was injured? LOL no. When Sterlo was injured they would play the fullback or even centre or second rower at half before Bert.

That’s what every coach in the history of the game would do but not Brad ‘chase the collision’ Arthur. He is so one dimensional in his tactics and his flexibility is non existant.

I think 5 rounds is recoverable depending on circumstances. I think up to even halftime vs Raiders it was recoverable for us. That second half though…. I think it’ll be a great NRL storyline for us to win the premiership from here

na that’s incorrect. Yeah its been a pretty horrible 2 weeks and no excuses for it, however after round 5 last year we were 15th with 1 win, 4 points out of the 8 and 8 points from 1st.

This year we are 14th, but only 2 points from the 8th ( and 5th spot) and 4 points from 1st.

Our points diff is similar -19 last year, -20 this year.

Interestingly last year after 5 rounds 3 sides Raiders (2 pts) Sharks (4pts) and Knights (5pts) were outside the 8th but finished in the top 8.

We won’t be winning anything. We are now paying $3.50 just to make the 8. And when the inevitable happens I’m hoping our CEO who cops plenty of flack calls time on MON, Arthur and his assistants. I fear however it will be masked with a new assistant coach and some astute signings that should have happened 2 years ago.

We missed the finals last year I suspect if we had made it and gone deep.

There would be barely any noise.

We're 18 months & 29 games post a GF appearance and trending backwards.

I think the club got lucky last year they didn't cop more heat for missing the finals even with the shithouse reasons/excuses that happened.

I hate it when were copping it but we probably need a rocket up the joint tbh too many people around the club from players to coaches and admin are still living/coasting off the GF appearance.

If we don't win a game before the Bye it's almost curtains for finals this year. And we would only have just reached Anzac Day.
