Didn’t someone say yesterday or so that they doubted Cheika was even interested? ^^^^^ I think the quotes from Sarintinos quashed that.

If the contenders are now Hannay, Ryles or Chieka then I am content with any candidate they go for.

Baz is there too and will be given an opportunity, but I think we all know that he would only get the job Stephen Bradbury style.

Ryles is who you need young fresh new ideas but more importantly he has been understudy to some of the best in the business and has no current ties to your club so not corrupted by present board

I’ve only looked into Hannay. What credentials does he have? Good bloke?
He looks like a bad option. Losing record at qld cup level.

I’ll look into Ryles next.

Nah one year the coach is good and the next year he’s garbage
...especially when the game moves on and his adaptability and tactics don't.

Do you always drink this early in the morning?

Do you think it's possible that their tactics don't evolve as fast and other coaches work them out and expose them quicker. Or that players become a little stale/comfortable hearing the same voice and ideas?
I would consider these plausible. It is why the game has evolved. Other teams will then try and copy and recruit players to suit the winning style. But sometimes a new side will develop a better formula so by the time you master that style successfully other sides have become to used to it and it no longer is a winning formula.
