I'm assuming he wants to be a head coach. He will never do it at the Storm. Literally ever.
Someone will eventually takeover from Bellyache.

He knocked back a Head Coach gig to be an Assistant at the Storm.

According to Bellyache he is now heavily involved in their recruitment, which would seem unusual for an Assistant Coach that you have zero intention of being the Head Coach one day.

Which former State of Origin forward could be up for grabs at the end of the season. He hasn’t played a lot of NRL this year and rival clubs are beginning to ask about his future.

Trent Barrett’s media campaign for the Parramatta Eels’ head coaching job may not be helping his cause. The club prefers the softly, softly approach of Josh Hannay and Jason Ryles.
And rightly so … it’s embarrassing

Remember when SK left the STORM and he bought promising junior Billy Rodgers with him. That showed them.

It could just mean that to keep employees happy you need to support their career development.

1. McDermott
2. Cheika
3. Holbrook
-
4. Demetriou (only because he can start straight away)
5. Hannay
6. Ryles
7. Barrett

Hope it's Holbrook. Was successful with the Eels 20s. Won successive comps with the Dogs nsw cup. Then coached the jnr kangaroos. Went to England and was very successful. Made the 8 with the tits then 9th. Was sacked with a 6 win and 7 loss in his final year, prematurely many thought.
