Don't tell Pou but I actually agree with him on Foran at this stage but I can see where avenger is coming from. If Avenger only has the same info I have from self-interested journos then he is definitely overreacting in my opinion. However he might have more info than the rest of us do that justify his reaction but he can't expect us to change our opinion on what he knows until more info comes to light to us.

Yes you have made yourself perfectly clear on that point but that doesn't mean the rest of us have to feel the same. We are entitled to want our team to win 2/3 of their games and then make a decent showing in a final series. I agree if it's between winning most of our games and finishing last or losing most of our games and finishing last option 1 is the preferred option. However the majority of us don't believe it should be a choice between those 2 options, in fact you're the only 1 in here who seems to have that opinion

I'm sure we could have come into the season with zero TPAs (and a worse squad) and still won plenty of games and made the finals. Not to say we would have, but if we stayed injury free we could have. But then we almost certainly would have lost in the finals anyway.

To give yourself the best chance you need to spend a lot more than the cap on players, and that means TPAs. But without legit TPAs you need dodgy ones. That carries the risk of backstabbers ruining your good time.

That's the choice I think we need to make, not a choice between finishing last from cheating or finishing last from lack of talent.

Foran is a long term mental patient now? I'm sure he had a brief episode caused by relationship breakdown and abuse of painkillers. Those extrinsic factors are temporary.

I'm not disagreeing with that I have no doubt the clubs spending more on their cap are doing so with completely legitimate tpas. We were just shit at it. I'm not dirty at them doing what everyone else is doing, just dirty at them not doing it as well. There is no reason our squad couldn't have been under the cap there is certainly better squads out there then ours that haven't been caught cheating.

You may be right but you may be wrong as well. I'm sure he wouldn't be the first person to seem mentally healthy then have an experience or experiences that caused long-term mental health issues. But hey you are the self-proclaimed expert on all things.

You might be sure but I'd take his former coach's (toovey) word when he said on one of the footy shows that foran's mental health issues have been known about by manly for a number of years.
