The Plane is also the only player in my opinion that comes close to being able to justify $1.2 million a season under the salary cap.

Foran was always overpriced and the supposed leadership he was supposed to give us was a myth.

He will go down as the worst buy in our 70 year history.

It did come across like you were gloating.

I was just indicating that plenty of people here have a certain condition.

Some of you blokes might consider thinking about how you'd feel if the very worst happened with Foz. There's a human being at the end of all of this.

Who cares how poor a signing Foz has or will be, Barry is right at the end of the day it's just a f**king game and surely the first priority is Foz's health. Hopefully he gets the help that he needs ASAP and gets away from club and football for a while and gets himself right. The constant media speculation cant be helping him either.

When you are as high profile and paid as much as he is the media speculation won't go away.

Look what Pearce did after getting caught trying to f**k a dog and pissing on a couch, went away for a couple of months and got himself right. Sure it will all be here when he gets back but he might be in a better head space to deal with it. As it stands atm he is not.

It's up to Foran to make that decision and get away to get his head right(which is probably the right one) but I have my doubts whether he is capable of making that decision.

Thats true, hopefully someone in his inner sanctum can help him make that decision.

I am going to go on record as saying that I am disappointed with the news that Foran has quit.

Keiran Foran without the personal issues that he has and is facing is EXACTLY the type of halfback and leader this club has needed for at least the last 10 years (probably longer) and we will be the worse off for not having him here.

Keiran Foran with the personal issues that he has and is facing is EXACTLY the type of halfback and leader this club doesn't need right now and hopefully and most importantly for him, he is able to get the help and time he needs away from the spotlight to sort these issues out and enjoy a long, happy and healthy life.

In the meantime, the game goes on and we will either find or manufacture a halfback for 2017 and beyond that will provide us with the best possible service we can get and hopefully it will be enough to bring the mighty Eels back to the top.

Good Luck Foz.

Well I can't say I am surprised but I hope we are no longer paying any part of his contract..........considering our history of that, I am sure we are. He will end up at the Dogs or Roosters next year for sure.

Welcome back Hayne............

See ya Fozzy, hope you get yourself well.
I do sincerely hope he gets himself right.

The cynic in me awaits the miraculous recovery & signing with the Dogs or someone by end of the year though.
As much as I think he probably is a good bloke, great player etc. for the money he was on, the position he took (the long cursed #7 + the Capt. role) it is probably the best resolution. Its just too much pressure/spotlight for a guy who is fighting his own personal demons.
Good luck Keiran.
