Gee great timing that these articles have appeared in both Sunday papers the day before the AGM.

Coincidence, I'm sure.

700,000 documents... 700,000. I'm calling absolute BS on that number. How many people work in the integrity unit? Let's go with with 10, that's 70,000 documents read and analysed per person. Even at 100 a day per person (which would seem on high scale to me), that's 700 days... Unless the integrity unit has 1,000 investigators, it's all BS

From an audit perspective you'd normally be sampling them at rates driven by risk.

But, I'm trying to work out how the club would be engaged in enough transactions to generate 700,000 (relevant) source documents or their electronic equivalent. I can see that they might inspect inventory records in search of the merchandise purchased that apparently never turned up. I can see that they might go through the purchasing and payments cycle.....but even if they samples 100% of transactions......f**k 700,000 seems a bit off for an organisation like the Eels.

Let's say that those 700000 documents were created over a 4 year period, that means the club somehow created 439 documents a day ( that's emails / invoices / contracts etc etc etc).

I doubt the figure is correct, some creative journalism I think!'

All part of the narrative that we have cheated worse than the Storm or Bulldogs.

Rep Round.

Day AFTER Parra Leagues AGM.

Budget Day @ Canberra.

Toddy seems to have put some thought into a Tuesday presser date.

Discuss.

Panthers 1.33 to finish in top 8
Parra 3-1

If parra lost 4 points and where equal with penrith they would also be 1.33 at worse.Cause we are as good or a better team.
To be 3 times the price of panthers we must be giving them a decent start.
So it has to be atleast 10 but even then odds are to long.Im going to put it at 12-14 guys goings off sportbets odds.

8 points makes sense, 12-14 points would have us much higher than 3-1.

28 points would get you into 8.
If we lost 8 points we could afford 5 losses from 15 games. We would be 2-1 at most.
12 points we can lose 3 games and we would be closer to 3-1.
Sportsbet dont like to lose so 14 would be safe on their behalf if i was a bookie thats what id throw. 12-14 if had to odfer 3-1

The fact we would make 8 means its now a top 9.
And that is why penrith and raiders and dragons are so short.

So bandwagons theory of how much money is put on is flawed cause the fact that every other team has shortend.Or coincidence money has come for every other single team.Wow now thats a stretch.

What is the big to-do with betting agencies?

Who cares what they think? Why does that have any baring on anything?

Wasn't there a massive go on the Storm for the spoon in 2010 the day before their cheating was announced? Which is why it is now most losses. Bookies sure don't like losing.
