I agree, no other club has been anally probed as much as we have so there could be a potential discrimination claim there.

Agreed Avenger, which is another reason why I don't agree that the board should simply stand aside if there is a premiership points sanction - that would be an admission of something.
If they take points off of us they also need to make available (publish a detailed judgement or something on the NRL website) as to the reasons including what the actual breaches are.

The thing that shits me is that the NRL know that every club does this with TPA's. To assume anything else is a nonsense. That's why the term 'due process' was used. Look at every clubs TPA agreements and investigate thoroughly. If that is not possible have an amnesty where all clubs come clean, adjust the system and have every club sign the document with a fixed penalty for a breach. Not this subjective shit that everyone is speculating on.

+1 it needs to be said that the only time that points have been deducted is when there has been a whistle blower to the media. Simply put the NRL are either ineffective of policing the cap or really don't want to unless they have to.

RaaaY has just said the breach is more than the $430k breach of last year, and we will certainly be losing enough points to ensure we don't make the 8.

Take of that what you will. To be handed down within 2 weeks.

One difference between the previous salary cap rorts and what is happening here is that previously the whistleblower went to the NRL, here the whistleblower went to the media. I suspect that if there was more damaging material the media would have it (via leaks) and hence the public would have seen it.

I recon if the AFL were handling this they would put up on their website each day something like this:

"as of this afternoon we are investigating, we have made no findings, we have made no decisions, any media speculation is just speculation"

Was in th car and turned the radio off as soon as Raaay started the broadcast on behalf of th emperor, he did say that DA has suddenly taken leave, no reason given.

My opinion on him hasn't changed

That's right. But the NRL have no power to compel private organisations to speak to them. So, in the absence of a whistleblower, what do you propose that they do?
