I think that if they declare that TPAs are not satisfactorily at arms length, then they deem them as part of the cap. That puts us over ?
I don't think the problem is with this year's cap (not sure). It is largely with undisclosed agreements that possibly put us further over the cap in previous years than we had acknowledged. But either way, if there is a problem with this year's cap due to undisclosed agreements, Watters retiring doesn't change the substance of the matter.....if it turns out that our TPAs were not properly disclosed and would have have led us to be over the cap, then we are in the wrong.....regardless of whether we then lose a player after 'getting caught'.
