To some extent we get what we deserve. The market doesn't seem to want to pay for considered, reasonable and responsible journalism.
On NRL 360 Tooves and Billy Moore were fielding random questions. One was about Corey Norman and if he should stay with us or seek huge coin elsewhere.
Both Tooves and Moore spoke about us as an emerging power and that he should stay to win a premiership. Paul Kent said with a smile on his face that we might be playing this year for no points. <silence from Ikin, Tooves and Moore>. A minute later just in case nobody heard he said "and the Eels might be playing for zero this year!" <again, silence from the other 3 panelists>.
Merkin.

if media reports are true and it's 10-12 pts or if the board stands down it's 4-6pts, if the board don't stand down and we get slugged 10-12 pts what would you expect the members reaction to be?

you would think the would just stand down, but this is Parramatta we are talking about here....
You would think so. If we lose points they are gone imo. They will be booted or voted out.
If they don't realize that they are kidding themselves really.

perhaps they feel the NRL's case isn't as strong as the papers make out
the longer this goes on, the less likely I think the punishment will be severe
unless they challenge the NRL's ruling in court
there has been so much media bs that the NRL may find us guilty of something based on flimsy evidence just to please News Corp
May have something to do with his feud with Sterling, that he has a hatred of all things Parramatta.
To think this grub once pulled on the Blue and Gold jersey, and represented the Club.:twisted::twisted:

Do you think we will ever officially hear that the board standing down was an option? Or do you think even if that is a possible action that the NRL would do it behind closed doors?
