Merkin, watch this movie, enjoy Ashley Judd and plan your next murder. :thumn

I developed a theory that due to Will Smith's time travelling in Men in Black 3 and the fact Tommy Lee Jones has never aged since starting acting, that all movies starring Jones are just alternate universes created by Smith's meddling. Also Jones & Josh Brolin are now the same person. Makes watching No Country for Old Men far more antertaining

Was listening to talking sport. Hughes says fine us 5M and distribute it to the other clubs. Ill go further and allow the other clubs to go over their cap next year by double the amt we did

Another caller said penalise us over 2 years. 5 pts this year and 5 next year

Brent Read on triple m said tonight that there is a chance if we lose the hoppa case it will come out of the cap. I thought we were clear on that one.

TripleM are about as accurate as The Mole.

All this gutter press and the merkin leaking this bullshit to the media has done the job. As far as the general public are concerned we are salary cap cheats and deserve to be stripped of points and kicked out.

Sure enough the Daily Terror has made the Win about the Salary Cap issue.

THEY are equal first this week but could be outright last next week. That is the bizarre and mind-blowing scenario facing Parramatta.

The Eels recorded a robust 22-10 win over fierce rivals Manly at Brookvale Oval to climb into first place on NRL competition with 10 competition points. This is the club’s best start to a season after seven rounds since 1986, the last time Parramatta won a premiership.
Yet it could implode spectacularly next week when the club is expected to lose competition points — and plenty of them — for salary cap abuse.

Fyi guys, just heard we are losing 12 wins. Not points. This will eat into next seasons wins if we dont get them this season. They are doing it this way so they can ensure the team continues to try hard and gives the supporters something to cheer about.

Why are they saying "could implode"? I thought all their wonderful jouralists already know how many points we are losing :sarcasm:

We are going to get f**ked over for sure, I can feel it in my bones. The good news is cheats always seem to win the comp after they get punished.

I've heard anywhere from 0 - 28points all from different people, all claiming its from a reliable source.

Bunch of f**ken geniuss. They think whichever idiots column they read is a 'reliable source'

Well merkin, even our biggest hater Paul Kent said yesterday ..

What penalty there will be, if there is, rests solely on Greenberg.

... so basically he conceded that he had no f**king idea if we were guilty of cap breaches or not, let alone any penalty.

Stop listening to rumours.

Why would the NRL release information on a penalty for an investigation that they have not even finished ?

I think this rule is 90% correct, we all agree a great deal of what is reported is inflated rumour / opinion / guess. But, there has to be some mail close to the mark. We have stagger and forty (I think, maybe tct) sharing that heaps of points being mooted as our penalty / season impacting.

I dont expect they are tight with greenburg so I'm thinking there has to be some dialogue with parties closer to this discussion that they are able to glean this goss

2gb , you know who, suggested all the issues related to inflated invoices from suppliers and the balance being paid as TPAs. This is exactly what other successful clubs have been doing for years, I won't say who as that may be deleted

Suggested that the punishment will be realistically in the vicinity of 12 points which could be reduced if those who oppose the Emperor ( my thoughts) stand down, from both th football board and leagues club board with th NRL appointing an interim administration . Names mentioned were Sharp, Issa, Gerard and Serrao . With Anderson and Boulos also being forced out, with emails from DA being evidence of his inviolvement

Penalty can be reduced if those people stand down

Went on to say he had a call from a friend of a whistle blower, not rocket science I guess, detailing this

Said BA and the football office have distanced themselves from th admin by moving lock , stock and barrel to the sale yards, I have mentioned this previously

The shock jock couldn't be happier from the tone of his comments
