The biggest problem is that the shopping list for an NRL teams administration is VERY specific.
Having knowledge of football, and knowledge of business operations is one thing, but also being passionate about the team coupled with the fact that you'll also be on the board of a very large Leagues club is just extra on top making it even more difficult.
Ideally, the chairman's position would require someone passionate about the team, with experience running a large business, deep knowledge of the game, and above all else, unquestionable integrity.
That list of people would be easy to count on one hand. This is why we are constantly getting sub-par administrators, because I fear the perfect candidate may not exist.
