Won't be long, you can read all about it in the Telegraph.
What about leaking the details instead?
Agree. I guess the Gang of Five have until Friday week to resign. Sooner the better really.
It's kind of a pity, Andrew Hill's resume is pretty impressive.
He was working at Parra for 10 years from 99-09, so that tells the story right there.
Even if he was appointed that doesn't necessarily mean he'd do whatever DF told him to, particularly if he believes it isn't in the best interests of the club. Or maybe he would, no way to know for sure.
That's what going to suck now, we are going to suspect anyone who steps forward for any position in the club of having allegiances / being a puppet of someone or another.
It's going to be hard to fully trust anyone's motives.
We should threaten to elect both Fitzy and Spags....see if the NRL has a change of heart. What we need is regardless whoever the merkin is, to be doing the job in the best interests of the club. f**k I'd take Spags as chairman, Fitzy as CEO & Sharp as football manager if I thought they could do their jobs to the best degree for the club
Impressive resume yes...
But is he a strong leader?? ...
Andrew Hill is a parramatta boy through and through and it would be a really nice story if he came back and made us into a powerhouse on the proviso that he has a backing of a fitzyless, sharpless and Spagless board...
But I'm only stating a fact and that is or at the very least was a fitzyman
Isn't this similar to what the NRL already tried to do regarding these guys. The courts told them they had overstepped their bounds.
Welcome you massive lurker you. Joined in 2005 but first post today ? :thumn
Haha, yeah couldn't believe that myself.:sarcasm:
More importantly what is your opinion on home gardens and the hu-man race?
Not sure if I'm missing a joke here but as long as Bert's the one doing the gardens and staying away from the club we're in a better place. Well, at least I thought that until yesterday...
the more this goes on it looks like it was planned by Fitzy so he could get back in power
Unfortunately the injunction is only in relation to allowing the 5 to carry out their duties and while in theory would negate the no points thing from the Gang of Five issue (assuming we can get under cap), if the penalty is still tied to the Gang of Five and later the courts have no reason to overturn the request by the NRL for them to stand down, then the NRL and courts would also have no reason to stop from rewinding the no points penalty to before the injunction startedIsn't this similar to what the NRL already tried to do regarding these guys. Just welcoming you back CasperNot sure if I'm missing a joke here but as long as Bert's the one doing the gardens and staying away from the club we're in a better place. Well, at least I thought that until yesterday...
Did they ? Perhaps the court granted injunction because of a plausible argument, but it needs to be heard before it finds in favour of either party ?
And Brian Smith as footy manager

This will be open and shut if it goes to court. From what I understand the dereg is basically the NRL would refuse to work with those people under their own laws, but they can't force officials from another entity to stand down, Corps Act overrides them, so the injunction is to force the NRL to work with those 5, so those 5 can discharge their duties until court makes final determination, but when/if the case is ever heard I also don't think the court could force the NRL to continue to work with the club if the NRL deems people within the club to be outside their own rulesI thought they did. I thought they'd already ruled that one company has no right to tell another company how to do its business. Someone will know.
