If theyre going off the testimony of Seward i find it amazing that peter nolan wasnt hit with a breach notice? Wonder if the story would be different if he was still here

In the overall scheme of things the penalty was light, we are still a slim chance to make the finals, other teams in the last had thier seasons ended then and there.
The fact that when the last board came in instead of self reporting they tried to find ways to cheat even more based on the info, if they self reported then and there this would have been over with a few years ago and the penalty done and dusted. I'm sure the penalty was what it was because we didn't report it and tried to hide it.

The Dogs and Melbourne got off lightly. The dogs were able to take pay cuts to stay together and the Storm were able to keep Slater, Cronk and Smith and weren't forced to shed them to get under the cap.

We had to lose players now to get under the cap. Paulo and Peats are pretty big loses. I don't remember anyone jumping for joy when we lost them.......

I'd argue that none of the teams caught rorting the cap this badly got off lightly, including us.

it's different for us though the storm kept their players but had to play for no points frankly i'd rather do that and keep peats (and paulo till the end of the year) but at least we had the choice

He got immunity for rolling over no doubt, plus he is at the Broncos now which means he has a free pass.

I think he's a gibberer and probably has no clue, but David Morrow just said that if we appeal, the appeals board has the ability to increase both the points and monetary penalty.

He then went on to say it's a disgrace to the NRL that we are allowed to compete in the competition due to our management.

He's got a point, it's a disgrace that the board are still there still making decisions for the club.
