I don't know if there are any law professionals on here, but the level of conversation on this forum often suggests otherwise. Are you suggesting because one is on a League forum that they can't be in law?

Seems Greenberg has further personal connections to the dodgy aspects of the club. He's good friends with Boulos and provided a personal reference for him to be hired as our CEO

don't think so seeing it has quotesI reckon that should be about Seward not Boulous. Quality journalism there DT.
Greenberg admitted he had known Boulous for 10 years when he worked for soccer and cricket.
“The recruitment company rang me when John applied for the job and I happily endorsed him,” Greenberg said from Darwin.
“I’ve got a high opinion of John but he found it difficult to break away from the architects of the mess at the Eels and he has to accept some responsibility for that.
“It was a very hard thing for me to include John in the five names I deregistered but this job has to carry no fear or favour and that’s why I did what I did.
“It is very difficult to hand out punishment but he was the chief executive and he really had to be prepared to break away from the group who engineered this whole thing. In senior roles, you have to act.
“I’m not here to be popular. It’s a hard thing for me to punish but I did what I had to do.”

Or he's putting a word in for himself as a better option under the salary cap for us?Did you see the video at the top of the page? It was Benji Marshall saying that we don't have the cap space to fit Hayne in for the rest of the season, and shouldn't be allowed to sign him.
Looks like Benji is moonlighting as a salary cap auditor and accountant.
Do we know who came second in Sept 2013?
Eels in a salary league of their own
Nick Tabakoff, The Daily Telegraph
July 14, 2016 9:53pm
THE Parramatta Eels’ two most senior executives, CEO John Boulous and head of football Daniel Anderson, are continuing to receive their generous salary packages from the club — despite being banned from their roles by the National Rugby League.
Mr Boulous and Mr Anderson were deregistered by the NRL last week over their roles in the Eels’ salary cap scandal, after being suspended from their roles since the governing body handed down its preliminary breach notice in May.
But The Daily Telegraph understands the pair is still on the club’s payroll, receiving leave with full pay despite the fact they have no role and the Eels are now in effect without a CEO and football boss.
The executives, who until the NRL sanctions were the club’s operational leaders, are each on a salary package of $250,000-plus a year.
Both also receive a company car, which they have not yet had to surrender.
Mr Boulous and Mr Anderson, along with the other members of the club’s so-called “Gang of Five” — chairman Steve Sharp, deputy chairman Tom Issa and director Peter Serrao — were also parties to failed legal action that challenged the NRL’s right to suspend them in May.
That legal action cost the loss-making club in excess of $400,000: a bill which will ultimately be footed by Parramatta Leagues Club members.
The two executives, along with the other members of the Gang of Five, are currently considering whether to appeal the NRL’s decision to deregister them from the game.
If they do, it is possible they will continue to receive their salaries until a resolution is reached. They may also continue to have their legal costs covered by the Leagues Club.
Contacted by The Telegraph last night, Mr Boulous said he had “no comment”, while Mr Anderson did not return calls.
Meanwhile, Mr Sharp, Mr Issa and Mr Serrao are still being paid as they contemplate whether to appeal their bans.
Mr Sharp is paid $15,000 a year by the club, while Mr Issa and Mr Serrao receive $10,000 a year. These stipends were introduced only last year, with Eels directors previously not paid for their roles.
100%. The Telecrap think they are providing a public service by shaming the club 7 days a week. Obviously we rate well which motivates them as well.Who thinks all the negative stories will stop as soon as the GO5 and remaining board members step down?
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.... noWho thinks all the negative stories will stop as soon as the GO5 and remaining board members step down?
Not until the club decides not to go to the NRL Appeals Committee. Well not even then. The DT and NRL360 are onto a winner bashing us every day.Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.... no
Stop reading/watching/regurgitating every parra related story and watch how quickly it stops.
Greenberg should resign today, he is clearly linked to this and also his time at the Bulldogs needs to be investigated.
Yes our club is a massive F up, but Greenberg has dirty hands and if they really want the game cleaned up then Greenberg needs to step down today.

I don't have any evidence, but i bet someone does. It will come out one day i bet. Once he upsets the media they will find it all. What evidence do you have that Greenburg is involved in the salary cap breaches or anything illegal? The fact the he knows two of the blokes involved and previously gave them references is hardly evidence that he has done something wrong. He may have...but this is just pure speculation.
