Didn't know they also took a statement off Ricky Stuart. Given he's still employed in the game, does the NRL really believe RS's and nolans statements are 100 % accurate. Surely they wouldn't want to incriminate themselves or risk their current jobs.

If the NRL has built their case around sewards evidence, and he's deemed the biggest culprit in all this, surely the NRL has to throw its hand up, and admit he's shouldn't of been recommended by the games governing body to the club.

I don't think anyone would be surprised that the NRL has acted the way they have. Protecting mates and only giving us the documents that suited their interests. I think Court is the only way to get everything in the open. No way Todd wants this so I'm wondering if a few crumbs (points) are given back to avoid everything being made available.

Today Brett Read said:
Last night’s decision will further antagonise the NRL
Well it shouldn't. We deserve due process without merkins getting their nose out of joint.

Last Saturday Toddy said:
"The overall impression that I got from the responses is that no one at the club has taken responsibility for the deliberate, systemic and blatant breaches of the salary cap.
Yeah that's because you held back stuff.

Last Saturday Toddy said:
"It can appeal the decision, which is its right, or it can accept this decision and turn Parramatta into the powerhouse club it should be.
What is the concern Todd ?

I think the media now need to demand that the records of interview from all of these people be released to them. It is up to the Daily Telegraph (the NRLs media division) to publish this material in full.

Ricky Stuart was interviewed, and is a key "witness" regarding our breach?

Wait a minute, wasn't he a Spags appointment? And planned his Salry Cap-screwing PowerPoint session under Spags' watch, and delivered it only about one week after Sharp was elected?

Why are we paying penaltties for actions taken under a previous adminsitration? Sharp's crew showed both Seward and Stuart the door....

I reckon the media has most of it and before El D goes off... I reckon it was supplied by someone who does part time work at Grose St, although i won't Labour the point.

Too late for that, now, isn't it?

The Appeals Committee is independent, right? So, the NRL can't advise them on what penalty or reduction to hand down, right?

If the NRL wanted to throw some crumbs and hopefully have this go away, then their chance was when they handed down the final ruling after taking into consideration our reply.

So, either the NRL has a watertight case that will hold against all scrutiny or a court - a real, legitimate one - will blow this whole f**king thing open and cost a few people their jobs.

Hoping for the latter. In the Essendon drugs case, the AFL Anti-Doping Tribunal found the players not guilty, totally reeking of an in-house decision. Once it got to the real court - CAS, not surprisingly the decision was overturned. Not sure where it can go if the NRL Appeals Committee sides with Todd,

Whatever happens time is ticking. How many rounds until the semis?

You don't do this only if you feel you have been dudded but you need to have evidence to support that view.

It's messy and causes further disruption, but gee if we do have stuff that supports the view that the punishment does not fit the crime then the club owes it to the members to follow it through.

Administrators appointed because we are appealing the decision?

Seems legit to me.
Don't think this has anything to do with us appealing the decision mate, they have to go. Especially after last nights news about the 3 EGM proposals being turned down.
