I don't think they should be allowed to do this but if they want to back end him fine it will hurt them later when they shed players to keep him.

Why did you do the sarcastic eyes? Obviously if a club doesn't have a salary cap then they have plenty of room to buy players. Tough on the eels though because they actually have to keep their team under the cap, but as others have said they are putting a proposal forward, it may get approved or rejected but no matter what they went about it in the right way, like Manly is now getting the Stewart sitch sorted out. Some clubs could learn from the eels and Manlys dealings. Not going to name names, but in an unrelated note I hear theres a storm coming, hopefully my dogs don't get caught in it.

The Gaz situation was a farce that shouldnt be allowed to happen again imo. It should not be used as a precedent to allow clubs to bend the cap. The eels and Izzy cant suck it up.
