Surely Beau Scott will play 30 minutes or so for Wenty this weekend would't he?
I doubt it. He's not the sort of player who will benefit from a run around with Wenty IMO - much like we didn't see the Roosters give Cordner a week playing with Wyong (or whoever those Rooster merkins use as their NSW Cup outfit these days) when he was coming back from a spell.... Scott is a pro and I'm sure would have maintaiend a fairly regimented fitness program while he was recovering from his injury (pain permitting)

Anyway, here's an interesting stat.

Since 1998 our record against Brisbane is 18-20. And our record at Suncorp since they went back there in 2003 is 6-7. Given some of the years we've had in that time compared to them, that's a pretty reasonable record.

I do think they'll be too strong for us this time, though.

I'm completely stunned by those stats.
Considering that Brisbane are pretty much always towards the top of the table, and the utter shit show we've been offering up recently, that shows that anyone can win any game.

Apart from this weekend of course.

Those stats don't surprise me.

Being a parra fan in Brisbane since the mid 90s hasn't been too bad. If have experience more than more fair share of wins up here.

From the captains run photos, looks like Vave may get a start.

Reckon Gower may drop out for him.

Franky to remain in the top 17.

One of the losses at Suncorp also came right on the bell.... think it was around 2008 on a Friday night. I seem to recall Lockyer kicking across field or some sort of hail mary play and their winger racing past Guru Jnr to gather it and score....

EDIT - this might be it - Round 12 2008. Boncos won 30-26....

The night my heart was broken by Denan Kemp.

I think I'm remembering the same game but I'm fairly certain Locky's cross field kick to the unmarked winger on about halfway was at the halftime siren

Nah I thought it was at the death.

Or some kind of hail mary play won it anyway
