So coach choosing more expensive Keating to less expensive Mitchell. I liked whatever I saw of Mitchell last year. Much better than Keating ! Guess time for Mitchell to find a new club !

VERY happy to see Lasalo taking Smith's starting spot. He looked really really good in his moments last season - I think the back 3 gains a lot from having 2 "runners" and 1 "worker". Big mobile pack even with Fui and Poore out.

Didn't expect to see Mitchell Allgood named in the starting side. What will happen to him when Fui is back? to the bench or to NSW cup?

I don't want to panic. But it does look like a pretty weak Parramatta team. Especially with Poore and Fui out the props look a bit light on. But Allgood might step up and I guess Shackleton will play there for a bit.

The backline makes me nervous. But we will wait and see what happens.

am surprised Whatuira wasn't named.....but him not being named anywhere may mean he is on standby for any late changes, such as Walker not being fit, or Etu missing out?

will be keeping a close eye on Etu, Walker, Morgan and Lasalo
have a feeling Mitchell Allgood will be wearing blue and gold for a while
like the forward pack, although does seem strange for Ben Smith not to be starting?

At least Hicks, Reddy, Whatirua and even Atkins are still to come into that side, so that is not our best backline. That is our only saviour - we have good players that will be picked in the future.

yes he did and scored a try from a kick, and from all reports looked good
as i said i have a feeling he is on standby in case Walker cannot start or Etu misses out?
