They were very poor last night.

I didn't realise that they fly in and out the day of the game...didn't get a chance to watch the NRL side run around.

Tony Williams exploded once...that was it...nearly scored from it as well. He didn't really go looking for work.

I think Kris Keating needs to do more at NYV level before he gets reconsidered for first grade.

yep, TW is definitely not a stayer, he averages 1 or 2 good runs a match despite he's unbelievable fact remains, that he's just lazy at the moment.

Nikki and I were both waiting for the famous last 20 minute comeback after the side got ahead then have 4 quick tries put on them in the middle 20 of the First half.

We started to spark up with 22 to go, but it pitted out and we ended up going down quite meekly.

Some more information about the NYC travel stuff.

The NRL pays for Flights and accom for the NRL for a minimum stay (aslo the fact that most games you could not fly out of as they finish after 9:30 at night making a flight at 11pm maybe), and Pay for Flights for the NYC (Last game finishes at 7:00 pm so they can catch a 9:30 flight), but doesn't want them to spend to many nights in a hotel as it these boys have "other" things to get back to.

TBH, it is a bit week.

Penrith played Brisbane in Round 1 this year with the NYC kicking off at 11:45. Penrith's flight was delayed a couple of hours in the morning and due to this they were late to the ground so the match was delayed.

Penrith won 28-24. Was a late comeback that got the win. They were clearly struggling in that First Half.

One thing I heard yesterday is that the pups stayed in Townsville because there was no flight coming back that night.

It was like they had a sleepover at a mates place!!

I think he's a better five-eight and only playing fullback due the inept form of Dom Nasso.

I'm just interested because i see this guy at North Sydney Oval all the time and just found out it was Justin Hunt. His brother Matt Hunt is Bears NSW Cup hooker.

he wouldn't be someone that the club will rush out and sign in an instant but could see himself in the part time squad for next year if he doesn't land a contract else where..

Nasso was Guru version 2, everything aimed at his wing and they scored heavily on his wing last night

Yeah worst game from the boys this year, which was sad seeing all the Brisbanites were hanging to see em. But I reckon it comes down to the Flight schedule. Flying is such a bitch of a thing, and I usually need a nap straight afterwards.. :lol:
