Nasso yes..not to sure about Hunt.

Jack Gibson had a great story about Neil Hunt in one of his books.
Seems Jack told Neil to look for another Club as he would not get too many opportunites at the Eels.
Hunt replied if he was not going to make it, he would not make it at the Eels and said he wanted to stay and set his goals for the Eels. He stayed all right and became a key player in a premiership win...1983 perhaps..I think Atkins and Grothe were wingers for the first two and Hunt and Grothe for the third??
Believe it or not....I MAY BE WRONG...just could be

81 Grothe and Atkins
82 Grothe and Hunt
83 Grothe and Liddiard.

Eric Grothe and Mick Delroy..
I remember Andrew Farrar sending Mick Delroy into Disneyland..and should have been marched...Is that correct.
I know Louie Mortimer kicked the conversion that won the game, and the Crow missed one late in the match that would have evened it up at 6 all. Did Steve Ella go off early with a knee injury and be replaced by David Liddiard? - or was it Liddiard who went off?
You are testing my memory I must say, but it is good mental exercise.. Love remembering things like this...

you're only half right, the Mick Delroy hit was 86.

Grothe and Hunt were the wingers and Liddiard came on in the firat 5 minutes to replace Zip which I thought was a hammy but I could be wrong.
