It's not fun to watch but no Cleary, Yeo, JFH, Martin or Edwards to name a few against a Parra team treating this like a proper competition game and it's not too surprising what's happening. I don't think we'll win very often when Staines is at fullback and O'Sullivan is at half.

As I said, its a trial, the season hasn't even started. Perhaps when they can string a few games together, the depth will get stronger when combinations have had some time to settle. We will be fine.

Seen teams in the pre-season historically under perform during the trials, only to get their act together in the first few rounds of the comp.

And to put a finer point on it, who had Manly and Easts losing last night? The only match that means anything to anyone at this time of the season is the Souths v Saints match straight after our game.

Not much for us to take out of this game, score line reflects a first grade team Vs a reserve grade.
I must admit parramatta have looked very good in attack.
They have taken advantage of good display from their forwards.
I thought tago has looked good, Staines has done a decent job, nobody else has really stood out.

The scoreline looks bad but the result means nothing. LOL@Eels fans chest beating over this non event. Even if we were to have a disappointing season, we would still be the most recent premiers and they haven't won since before the current oldest NRL players were even born.
