We deserved what we got,thank God its only a trial but some worrying signs in defence and discipline.We had about 7 out but we just looked so lethargic today kikau koroisau luai even t'oo look to bulked and slow for mine.We won't beat manly rd 1 unless cleary is back and we turn it around very quickly.

Yep I thought even with a few middles missing we handled them well defensively when it was set to set, then someone on the edge would make a bad decision and they’d make a break or half break and get momentum.

i am pissed we lost mav early. i think he would have shown some urgency. the forwards were just horrible. Moses tried but not much he can do. Same with Kiks, Api looked like he didn't want to be there but he probably realises he is getting old so no need to go hard in a trial.
Still Not overly impressed with stains but he played a little better tonight.

One thing that does worry me is how invisible luai and Crichton can be in the games. There was obviously no forward momentum to play off but they are big $$$ players.
We should be seeing more from them in difficult situations.

Tago 1st one poor read

2nd one no talk for the 40/20. Then Sorenson taking no one into Jennings trying to be too fancy

3rd one Api spilled a kick they scored.

Generally the line speed and 1st contact was solid.

No field position was due to stupid errors turning the ball over.
When we did good field position

1 time Staines went for the trick play 1st tackle
Another time he grubber
A few times Luai was playing it on the last

Even the plays when we tried something no space. Yeo fixes that getting into 1st reciever

So it was just key guys missing made it look so bad
