so no half back ......we had robson there last yr .....and he passed it to morts. Should we be going back to that ...with maybe matt keating back in at 9

We are winning the middle third of the field...our forwards were great last 20... but our backs have let us down near the try line, needs some spark and have to score. I blame it on the halves. If we go wide, either Mortimer or KK get it and step back inside...WHAT THE HECK! keep going wide, our back 5 is one of the best in NRL!

I thought Kris and Jeff played really well in tandem at hooker. No problems there.

But Humble is not a 5/8 right now, and Mortimer is a horrible uni-dimensional halfback.

Had we had a creative kicker on the last tackle tonight, we just may have been able to win the game. Ditto for last week IMO.

Look Andos love affair with Mortimer just has to end. he is a hell of a terrier in defence but I honestly believe that he is the worst halfback that we have ever had. I know its a huge statement but Im trying to think of a worse mainline halfback and I cant. The man has simply no f*cken idea on the 5th tackle. We had more than enough plays at the Broncos line but this bloke butchered each and every one. I m starting to believe that perhaps he just doesnt have the skill to actually do the job.
Ando just has to make a call on this one. Put Robson back there or do something because the little man is just not going to cut it. I personally think we put the wrong man to hooker. I say put Robson at half and Morts at Hooker.

If we were talking about Michael Hagan or Brian Smith this board would be going nuts.

Anderson has turned us into the worst attacking team in the comp. Not just this year, but his entire reign at the club aside from 8-9 weeks last year.

Seems his plan is just to sign Cooper Cronk for next year.

This year just feels like a complete waste of what should have been a really exciting season for us

I feel so sorry for the other players who bust their asses to play strong in the forwards. It must be so deflating to get near the opposition line and see Morts kick the ball across the dead ball line or some pissy up and under that goes 20 metres too far and worries no one. The parra players really have more patience than me because I would have blown up at morts big time. Unfortaunately thats the problem with this team, we are accepting blokes who try hard. This is a business. If you cant do the job, get the f*ck out of the way so that someone else can have a go.

We also seem pretty flat footed when the ball gets spread wide. Broncos had players in motion everywhere when they moved it wide.
