Matagi certainly has better go forward but Tep’s defence is far superior. Going off last night, you’d have to at least consider Terepo over both of them as he provides the go forward and is defensively sound.
Terepo keeps improving. He could be a real weapon this year.

He is probably the quickest of our middle forwards, and doesn't miss tackles. He just tends to offer little in attack - he has line breaking ability but for the typical middle forward run against numbers he lacks leg drive and always seems to lose the wrestle. Plus there is the issue with his hands.

But he was excellent last night. I'm referring to the game against Newcastle and not anything else.

I'd be shocked if Tep isn't in the 1`7, actually i'd be shocked if Tep isn't in the run on side.

I expect him to be in the 17 but not in the starting side.

Although, I also tip him to be a full time middle forward now, but last night he only played on the left edge.

but they are currently under contract till the end of the season, not off contract till end of the season ffs
Right, but the fact they don't have a contract for 2019 puts them in a very different category of interest from all the other players who are contracted for 2019 and beyond, because they will all be in contract negotiations already.

There's a good chance some of them won't be here next year FFS!
