I believe that whatever be the result, the game will be very tight.

The fact that the Warriors are at home & will have Sonny Fai (Rest In Peace) in their thoughts, most would say a New Zealand victory without a second thought...

Consider the following...

1. The Eels looked great in the trials winning 3 from 3. A little shaky to start but each game they improved emmensly.
2. Daniel Anderson did coach the NZ Warriors (with Stacey Jones) during their most successful years. His knowledge of the NZ's abilities, tactics, game plan & players (to an extent) would be very solid. He will put alot of thought into this match.
3. Eels though sluggish last year, have a very good overall against to Warriors.
4. The lost of Sonny Fai rocked both countries & the entire NRL. Considering the match will be in dedication to this brilliant individual, both the Warriors & the Eels will put their heart'n'souls into this game. Sonny would be proud of his boys no matter if they win or lose, so long as every player (including the opposition), puts in the best game they can.

With all this in mind, I can't separate these teams. All I hope is to see two fantastic sides slog out some spectacular footy & giving it 110% for 80 minutes. That's what Sonny would want. :)

With Burt dropping bombs all over the park and crabbing his way to the 10 metre line from kick returns we're no chance.

Even Hayne wont be able to save us

Warriors 36 Parramatta 10

RIP Sonny

You are such a positive person Ron, you're positiveness is such an inspiration, i'm suprised that the club don't hire as a P.R. rep.:sarcasm:

And then the Warriors will force 3 drop-outs, all of which Burt will kick short and regather for himself, leading to long range tries.

meh, opposition sides are now aware of that from him, the funny thing is, those weren't intentionally, ten metres is as far as he can kick:lol:;-)

Warriors by 10 ....but I'll be happy if the Eels put in a good effort ...at the moment I think the Warriors are a good shot at the title this year .
