Ha , you're barking up the wrong tree . I sure as hell ain't running and never would . It's far from a commitment I'm prepared to make however if I did it would be for the right reasons which I feels few who are running are not . You only have to look at tactics used to realise what kind of people we have in front of us . I would put my kids on it that I've never met a candidate or spoken other than as a blogger on a site . I'm just enjoying the politics .

Sorry I told a porky pie , I have met Pricey and met Sharp at Wests ground in about 1985 and maybe Guru Junior at a pub in parra once but I was pretty pissed and not sure if it was really him .

Mits, at last someone has pointed out the bleeding obvious

The slogan for the juniors is a bit misleading as I have said before, the juniors have restructured and appear to be in a good position with some very positive outcomes. The AGM was well run and received by the clubs.

The election is more about positioning for the NRL side, be interesting tomorrow, to be honest the way the Leagues Club has also been improved, has swayed my vote.

Mate one half of the JL has been calling for changes for every. Maybe this will be good, maybe it will only last a few years who knows.

Either way, you and I have been to enough of these AGMs to know what each club does. I venture you might have been at the 1998 or 1999 AGM where control of the NRL club was moved to the LC?

Yes, I was at that AGM and actually still believe it is necessary

How can the football club pay its way, whatever the outcomes of the new broadcast deal they will still need around $2 million to keep pace. Seems a bit far fetched in being a juniors campaign, most of them dont know where to find any ground outside the stadium. we also must be doing something right at rep level, just a first step on the ladder to being involved with the NRL club really.

A comment before i do something for my junior club, anyone remotely invloved with Raaay or Fitzy would not get any support from me. Some people will do anything to prove that they should still be in charge.

Tony I've noticed last night on nospam46 you've been asked about your ability to carry out running a business plus all the other groups and clubs you say you're involved with physically ? And how will you get to the junior carnivals etc from The Gold Coast ? Surely all the travel to be down here for all the meetings as well as weekend matches will also take a toll mentally , are you totally prepared mentally for this big commitment ? And are you committing to be available for the carnivals to meet potential stars and their parents or will you be expecting someone to carry a video link screen around the games so you can mingle from home ?

Look forward to your reply .

I thought you left LU never to return Wizards Sleeve. After running my own business for 20 years it has become second nature and is no stress. I will handle the workload fine and I imagine much better than those with a young family. Having raised 3 children of my own who are now all in their mid to late teens I know that the hardest time for parents, in terms of workload, is when their children are young. It is incredibly difficult running a business and meeting family commitments with kids that are still very dependent on you. This is why I have waited until now to commit to other things I am passionate about like the Eels. Maybe you should ask some of the candidates with young families how they are going to cope?

Kinda why I won't be voting for Fenwick. Nice guy but Fitzy pawn and painful to listen to at AGM's

So my guess is that we as members are going to be getting some information from the Parra4Ever ticket today. As their website appears to have been launched overnight.

Nice little 3P nod in the Graphics.

http://www.parra4ever.com.au/parra-4-ever-fact-sheet.php

Some statements, particularly the stuff about the Ownership of the NRL club. Looks a bit like they are admitting it was a back flip from their previous stance, and the ANZ Stadium issues. Which now looks to be even richer then when Fitzy signed the last deal. I always thought our ANZ Stadium deal was on Par with the Dogs and Rabbits, each game was $100,000 plus profit sharing for a crowd over 25,000.

Tell you what though, cutting it close, Today is the last mailing day before the Election.
you were right as there was an envelope waiting at home.
Pricey seems even more confused then ever (if he even wrote it)

Plenty of nominees and helpers handing out how to vote cards today at the entrance to the club.
I was surprised at how many, actually.

So, which forum members are scrutineering the vote count tonight?

Any chance of posting updates of the tally on the forums :sarcasm:?

My prediction (in order of votes received):

Roy Spagnolo
Phil Sim
Eric Grothe Sr
Steve Sharp
Sid Kelly
Ray Price
?... Tony Ainstee / Steven Aglio / Peter Serrao / Mario Libertini
