I have to go to Panthers next week for work.

Will burn down the football club head quarters while I'm there.

get Harrison and Newton...that'll help our pack.

to have, assuming Clinton is leaving...:

8. Adam Woolnough
9. Luke Priddis
10. Tony Puletua
11. Clint Newton
12. Frank Pritchard
13. Trent Waterhouse

14. Tim Grant
15. Shane Rodney
16. Bronson Harrison
17. Junior Moors

There is versatility on the bench....to play many positions, and its mobile as well. I like that forward pack tbh...we could play like a skillful pack of forwards like the Tigers do now,....rather than up and barge.

What ever Elliot is going to do, he better do it soon.
It seems like new contracts are being signed weekly, just not at Penrith

Dont worry, we will act soon.
Obviously missed out on Newton, he has gone to the ESL.
Soward (roosters) signed with dragons - effective immediately.
Luke MacDougall (dragons) signed with newcastle - effective immediately.

Wooly is a hard working, honst toiler but he's got no mongrel, no starch about him, and honestly he has not shown any improvement sice his rookie year. He's abit like a Frank Puletua

Mate, Frank Puletua IMO is the form prop in the game at the moment.

Is playing out of his skin week in week out, IMO Joel Clinton would be a better comaprison. If anything has actually gone backwards since 2003.

This just in on PI....

May 30 - Newcastle prop Adam Woolnough has agreed to terms with Penrith.
He will join the Panthers for 2008 on a three year contract, Penrith’s General Manager Rugby League, Michael Leary, said today.
Woolnough, 25, made his NRL debut with the Knights in 2002.

Good signing so long as we keep Clinton. We could have an awesome forward pack, with a good bench if we do. For 2008, i hope to see:

8. Clinton
9. Priddis
10. F. Puletua
11. Pritchard
12. Moors
13. Waterhouse

14. Woolnough
15. T. Puletua/Grant
16. Rodney/Moors
17. Aiton/Smith

Frank Puletua should be considered for the kiwis tour squad at the end of the year - if not not doubt Samoa will try and pick him up to ensure qualification.

For some reason it seems he been around for a while and they must think he 30+.

Wooly is a good buy for you - we aren't happy to have lost him, and he is coming into peak age.

he is going to miss the beach thats for sure...

I am surprised, given the funds we have at our disposable under the salary cap, we have not yet secured Joel Clinton's signature on a new deal.

It is clear, Joel is obviously giving seriously thought about his future in 2008 and beyond.

The only thing for definite is Joel will have to take a pay cut as no one, including the Panthers, will offer him anywhere near what his current deal is. Joel's current deal being one of Shane Richardson's masterpiece's that we are still paying for bigtime.

I'm pretty sure Frank Puletuea was in a new zelands squad at some point last year, or maybe it was the year before.
