Everybody knows more about RL and sports management than the blokes on the TRL forum, the tinfoil hats they wear restrict blood flow to the brain.Dane knows more about super league than the Poms

”I’ve convinced myself” lol the bloke sounds as cooked as you
That's the only reason Samoa denied England is because they need to have the Samoa vs Tonga match. If they agree to let them play before Samoa goes on tour, I think it'll happen. Samoa vs Tonga needs happen every year
Would have been perfect during origin weekend, if only we had origin weekend!I'm so happy the IRL intervened and I hope it goes ahead. Also agree that an annual Tonga v Samoa at full strength is a must for the international calendar.
If only they bought back the Anzac test of Kiwis vs Kangaroos, Samoa vs Tonga and Fiji vs PNG. Pause the nrl for one week and have those mid year test. What a spectacle that would be. I would also use the woman's international games as curtain raiser for each testWould have been perfect during origin weekend, if only we had origin weekend!
NZ v Fiji, Samoa v Tonga, PNG v Cook Is. Should all be on stand alone origin weekend mid season.
I think a Samoa vs Tonga match a week after the grand final is a stretch. Especially if the Panthers are in the final again. Probably a week after to sober up the eventual champions and start fresh.Super League grand final is after the NRL grand final again so Samoa & Tonga should be able to play the weekend after NRL GF then head over. It would good to see some more warm ups next year to beef it up a bit, Tonga V Samoa, NZ V Fiji, PNG V Lebanon, England V France or something along those lines.
