English fans, what do you think of the NRL?

I happened to live your state for 8 yrs+ and I played footy, had a radio sports show and saw the workings of your own powers to be for myself. I saw the way it was Brisbane 1,2,3, and bugger the country, so don't try telling me what the NSWRL did that was so wrong when you haven't looked after your own "dirty laundry" beforehand.
You know nothing about the NSWRL, you are just another poor fool with an inferiority complex, always wanting to blame someons elses governing body for not giving you a fair go.
I listen to all sides of a discussion, but I can't listen to whinging and bleating from people that have no idea. I have no problem listening to those younger than myself, as long as they have facts to back up their point. You my friend DO NOT.

If you want to disagree that the NSWRL hasn't tried it's best to kill off League outside of NSW than prove it. Adding a single Brisbane team instead of two or more because they didn't want the QRL to have too much influence, getting rid of the profitable Chargers when they kept many of the struggling Sydney clubs, killing off the Reds when they had a junior base built up just so another Sydney team could stay in first grade... It's ridiculous.

You really have absolutely no idea do you?! Had it not been for the NSWRL there'd be no Broncos. There'd still be a QLD comp, and a NSW comp. Just remember the NRL has evolved from an expansion of the Sydney comp, not the Brisbane one. If the QRL had any foresight and attempted to expand their competition then who knows, the NRL might be full of Brisbane-based teams. But it is the way it is and for that reason Sydney teams have every right to be in the competition they started. Oh and for the record, I'm 22 as well.

It was the ARL that brought the Reds into being, and they ran off with Rupes and Rebes then ta-ta, nothing to do with NSWRL, the Reds killed themselves by playing Judas and they payed the ultimate price.

NSWRL brought in 7 teams outside NSW They are Canberra (1982) Gold Coast, Brisbane (1988), South Queensland, North Queensland, Auckland and Western Reds (1995).

The Chargers died because Brisbane demanded it, and News backed it, or we still would have had a split cmop. And Brisbane caused Super League, which made the Crushers bankrupt. And News killed the reds.

You are a utter dickhead - typical of the head in the sand broncos fans (not the intellient ones like Micle and others) who blame verything on NSW just because you are to paranoid, and too f**king stupid to realise what is happening. It's attitudes like yours that created Super League, and therefore killed off so many clubs, and damaged the code forever.

The NSWRL was had money in it's favour because their clubs were allowed to have pokies on premises, it could afford to expand interstate, the QRL couldn't. The Sydney clubs have every right to be in the comp if it's a local comp, they don't if it's masquerading as a national league.

As I've already said, the QRL didn't have the money to persuade them to join. Although maybe they could've done what the NSWRL did and create one Sydney team who proceed to buy up the talent in the NSWRL and leave it to wither and die.
