I have never seen Hindy react like that, but I think it was part firing up to play the arch rivals, part Hayne getting binned after getting belted, part Ennis being a prick. Out of character, and not his best moment.

I reckon he looks at his opposition leading up to a game and plans his sledges for each player carefully. He stays away from politically incorrect things, but uses sledges that he knows will set a player off. Things that opposition players would not tell journalists or complain about.

Hindy isn't about to hold a press conference and complain about that because he wouldn't want to make light of the issue for his kids' sake.

How is making fun of someone's kids ok, but race-related sledges aren't?


Both are equally scummy. In fact, I'd say sledging someone's family like that is far, FAR worse than, say, Gallen calling someone a black merkin
