That may well be true, however the one thing i noticed that he, Etu and others who have argued vehemently against the idea have ignored is the fact that it was addressed to BOTH the LC board and the RLC board so it wasn't my attempt to undermine the LC board 4 weeks after they came in.

But that can be ignored if it means an argument.

Wasn't ignored.... but the strange/hysterical choice of timing in addressing this to both boards now (rather than addressing it to members of both Boards at any time in the past four years - while we endured similar disunity, leaks and mediocrity without having as much of a plan) was noted and pointed out.

Good point ;-). And I have ignored the petition in terms of not signing it, but need to point out that it will cause more damage than than good if the stated intention is the real goal here.

However I don't want to just ignore MJC on here because of the petition... it's just that on certain issues imo he along with Staggs and a few others perhaps seem unable to see or admit how much they appear to have been "played" by contacts made during the days of the previous regime?

Bart, IMO you and ETU are the only ones to make any sense at all in this thread, its a very naive and poorly directed petition, with very little reality or thought put into it, not to mention the timing of it is ridiculous with the new board having been in for roughly 6 weeks.

I will say im sure Emjaycee had good intentions, and the idea is a proactive one, but it should have had this on the top of the petition ''Directed at Mr Roy Spagnolo and his left over puppets'' that way the it would have been directed to the real issue and problem.

Bart, for what its worth my contacts made during the days of the previous regime as you put it are limited to Bob Bentley, Peter Nolan and Joe Saad who I sometimes see at the local Bunnings.

Opportunities to be 'played' by any of the others are limited to my interaction with them from the floor of the AGM and some conversations I may have after the AGM. In fact apart from one recently appointed director whom I have known for 28 year, I have never had a face to face conversation on my own with any directors of either club and I doubt any of them could put a name to my face.

But thanks for worrying about who is playing who

I am not embarrassed by this thread, the petition, my comment, my clarifications, my views on the issues with the management of the club or by my associations with any of the management.
