. PARRAMATTA are fast rivalling Manly for the mantle of the NRL's most toxic board.
At their last home game against Souths at ANZ Stadium, the two factions watched from boxes on opposite sides of the ground.
The split seating arrangements occurred a day after a marathon board meeting was convened to determine former chairman Roy Spagnolo's membership.
Spagnolo was accused of making a racially insensitive remark at a recent match toward the club's Holden Cup doctor, who is of Korean descent.
The doctor allegedly responded by attempting to punch Spagnolo - and then threw a beer over him - before stunned onlookers in the grandstand.
Venue security escorted the doctor from his seat and Spagnolo was later asked if he wished to lay charges for assault.
Spagnolo did speak to police, but was ordered to face the board with the threat of having his membership suspended.
But the menace disappeared when he produced four independent witness accounts - including one from a former Eels player - that stated there was no racist remark.
Spagnolo is now pushing ahead with his bid to return to the board, with Eric Grothe wanting to stand down.
