Shaun Briscoe. We got him from Wigan just before the season started and he proved to be one of the signings of the season. He played Full Back in every match this year for Hull scoring 22 tries in SL (a new SL record for the club). He was picked at Full Back in the SL Dream Team for 2004 and was also voted Young Player of the Year (although admittedly Danny McGuire would have won that had he not been in contention for Man Of Steel).

Certainly not a bad replacement for Prescott :) He's only a young lad and could do with a bit more bulk but he's only a young lad so that shouldn't be a problem. He's been a bloody Godsend for us this year.

And look out for new Hull signing Danny Brough, who played halfback at York this year. Broke all sorts of scoring records, sets play up well, good general kicking game, and is bringing his coach Richard Agar to Hull with him.

As you know I rate him highly, I hope he is given the chance at Hull, rather than him wasting his talent in the academy.

For sure, I think Danny will be in the mix somewhere...

And Hightown, I notice talk of a York-Cas friendly on 13 Feb :D

As long as he does enough to impress John Kear he'll definitely get his chance. Kear is hoping he'll be this year's Richard Whiting. For those who don't know, Hull signed Rich Whiting from Featherstone (NL1 side) a year ago and his first season in SL was outstanding. He made the step up seemingly effortlessly (although I'm sure it wasn't) and by the end of the year was playing for Engalnd A.

London have signed Filimone Lolohea...

Apart from whoever gets Ellis,I don't think we'll see too many signings now before the start of the season.
