George has been exposed badly a couple of times tonight. Very good with ball in hand but poor at reading what's in front of him.

The first half was probably the best SL game this season in terms of quality and intensity, shame it fizzled out as one team completely dominated the second half (not wanting to spoil).
i am still not going to write of the losing team, they should learn a lot from that game.

Castleford coach Ian Millward must be on thin ice.

Getting beat by 70-12 is one thing, moreso when it's to Hull KR.

Enjoyed the night out. Headingley is a great ground with an awesome atmosphere. Got to meet Steve McNamara and smash a few jars. St Helen's, too good.

It was a big Monday Night one for Super League. Two premier clubs in the Monday night slot. It will be interesting to see how it holds up during the Euros.

Where did you end up in the ground Newman? Decent game of footy. Some big hits and a few good tries. Saints played well that last 20 mins and deserved the win. Zak Hardaker frustrates the hell out of me though! He has one of the best wingers in the world outside of him but passed to him once all night from my recollection. And why do we refuse to give the ball to Watkins on the other side when he's probably the best English centre in the game at the moment?

I was front row of the North stand close enough to half way. It was too low down for a great view but it is surprising how close you are to the players.

Tommy Makinson is becoming a really good player for St Helens, his finish for the try was outstanding.

Wigan were class tonight, 50-8 over Leeds.. They've got the players but also have a great coach, Shaun Wane, who doesn't take any crap.

Leeds Rhinos have massive problems.

Firstly, Kevin Sinfield and Jamie Peacock look like they are really struggling, if they are picked for England v Exiles it won't be based on form.

Brent Webb needs to be paid up and allowed to leave, his attitude was appalling.
Weller Hauraki was so far off the pace it was incredible, better and more talented players aren't getting picked.

But the big question is, where is Ben Jones-Bishop ?

Wigan were fantastic, great to see Rhodri Lloyd get 35 minutes game time.

Sam Tomkins is one of the best players i have ever seen.

BJB was the water boy tonight.

Shaun Wane was the difference for me. Wigan are the most structured team I have ever seen in this country and what that means is that no matter who slots in, it makes little difference. When you have between 3 and 8 decoys on every attacking play and every player knows their role then you are always going to ask questions. Sadly, the average SL team cant read an attacking structure and thus we see 50 points shipped in.

This is where the Aussies have got us for the past however many years it has been.

Sam Tomkins is the best British player I have ever seen and although he is a petulant little ****, I wouldnt mind seeing him in my team

Actually think we're looking better than this time last year. Disagree with pretty much everything except Webb. He's becoming a bit of a liability with his discipline. BJB has looked poor this year. Agree with johnny, wigans structure and defence is superb. Tomkins is an utter c***. So frustrating seeing such a great player constantly raising his hands, complaining, lashing out, pushing. He should be cited for third man in tackle on jjb. Not quite the best ever - Ellery offered more imo, but hell, he's an unbelievable full back. Tough task at wire next week too. Wonder if McDermott will be dusting off the inspirational poetry book again!
