but having sponsors (current or new) commit long term in this current climate is a challenge, and one that shouldn't be taken for granted.

I could never be disappointed at the signing of a major sponsor, but it's interesting that none of these promised "new boys" have jumped on board.
Maybe Pirtek made us an offer we couldn't refuse??
Anyway, I'd expect that we'd have somthing "else" tied up real soon, as promised by the new regime.

i think pirteks been pretty good to us , i mean obviously they have thrown a huge chunk of money to keep sponsoring us and besides while they may not be steggles chicken they seem to have quite a big profile.

I have been told that the new deal is a much more lucrative one for the club, that being the case, there could well have been a bidding war for the front of the jersey but I obviously don't know for sure.
