The gender of the victim is irrelevant. Furthermore, they are not similar due to the nature of the injuries suffered (Milligan require microsurgery whilst Inglis' ex didn't). Inglis has also not mislead the club or police.

They both committed assault against their respective partners with both of the victims suffering injuries, therefore they have both done the same thing. Why can't you see this? Why is Inglis being treated differently to Bird???

FFS Drakken why cant you see that the incidents are totally different and therefor require different treatment. What planet have you been living on? Stop repeating yourself and come up with something new or go back and read up on Bird because it was discussed to death on this forum. Yes, each incident involves an assault on a women but the similarities end there. Looking at all the circumstances together the two incidents are pretty much chalk and cheese.

Why do you guys defend the club for what they have done and the position they have put themselves in? You can sugar coat it any way you want but it still amounts to the same thing, the Inglis and Bird situations are exactly the same. They both beat their girlfriends. Or are you saying it's ok because there wasn't a glass involved in the Inglis situation therefore he doesn't deserve to be tarred with the same brush? Or as long as he didn't lie to police or his club then he doesn't deserve the same punishment? Every other club stands by their players, not this one though.

Drakken, nobody with a brain thinks Bird shoved the glass in his girlfriends face with an intention of harming her. I think most rational people would not think that Inglis intentionally punched his friend in the face either.
The problem with your argument , which I agree with to an extent , is the low life you are using for an example. He & his manger took a negotiated pay out then actively tried to f**k the sharks up.
Use LAtu, buster, Watts etc etc then you might get a victory with your argument.
right now you are none from plenty.
Just dont use a muppett video to reinforce your argument. The Christian Admin element of this site consider it inappropriate & delete it.

Well at least you have finally highlighted some differences between the two matters.
