I reckon a big turning point might have been that soft try that Hayne let in just before halftime.
The timing was perfect, so that it could be used as motivation in the sheds. Hayne would have been cranky with himself, and with no-one else to blame might have committed to getting those points back for us - and more.
Funny no mention of all the soft burt errors that led up to all the tries we conceded.
