I reckon a big turning point might have been that soft try that Hayne let in just before halftime.

The timing was perfect, so that it could be used as motivation in the sheds. Hayne would have been cranky with himself, and with no-one else to blame might have committed to getting those points back for us - and more.

Funny no mention of all the soft burt errors that led up to all the tries we conceded.

I wouldn't be talking semis etc at the moment... I'd like to see the team back it up next game that wil do me for a start. The great win against the sharks will mean nothing if they go back to round 3 form. So many times in the past Parra will play a great game then come out a week later and play a stinker!

Blair will be an Origin centre one day.

I can't argue with that. He has the agro of Hodges and the defence of Cooper. He defensive reads last night were great. Loved the way he menaced his opp number. He's a long term centre now and Willie, Loko and Co will need to fight for the other spot.

Did you bone her?

Any comment on Poore's game last night SDM ? I thought he did well. Pre-empting you, I agree that he should have been playing like that for the past two years.

Yeah, he was rubbish, as per usual.

His stats say it all;

Tries = zero
Line Breaks = zero
Try Assists = zero
LBA's = zero
Post try celebrations = zero
Impersonations of a fat kid chasing the Mr Whippy Van = 8 for 73m

Blair has hands like feet at the moment imo. I love the way he's been shutting down his opposition in defense though. The effort on Matt Cooper last week was outstanding. Just needs to work a little bit on his hands, mainly catching tough balls and he will be an even better asset for the team. Great effort by the Eels. Hopefully, they can keep this form going.

two weeks before we beat manly we got hammered by 30 points to the cowboys and panthers and after that the tigers put 31 on us so i wouldnt be getting too far ahead of ourselves just keep the effort up

Yeah certainly been shining stars in a forgetable start to the season Chayse Blair and Matt Ryan... I've had a wrap on Ken sio from the first game I watched him play as well and he's another who just keeps impressing every week... add to that Loko to come back into the side we've got some decent backs to take us into the future.

...and by the reaction of a few sharks players after Blair tackles - me thinks he might have a little bit of niggle in his game !!!!:clap:
Good to see a young guy not afraid to take a backward step, our team has been too nice for too long.
