We had enough quality possession to win, can't believe the number of stupid options not once in the second half did we get to the last tackle in our red attacking zone with stupid inept kicks and pushed passes it was panick stations all over the joint can't believe a premiership team can be rattled so easily we were only down by two at that stage. We have no excuses even with that knock on kick by Marshall for first try they should change that rule how on earth can you knock on and then get a second bite at the kick by claiming a drop kick just because the boot brushed the ball, ridiculous but I don't think it changed the result of the game we had enough chances just got to play with more belief like in 2010 we never panicked or lost our composure.

Benji was attempting a kick which ever way u wont to look at it. I aggree when people drop it cold then as a 2nd go kick it... But in this instance it clearly didnt happen that way . It was just a fluke he actualy brushed the ball to complte what he was meaning to do, altho very badly

I actually thought it was something Ryan started doing after he had the top of his cut in a game earlier this year. He's only been doing it since then that I can recall.

And a lot of time he does it not knowing the camera is on him

On the Beau Ryan incident, I have seen players penaltised for attacking a player in mid flight with situation like that. I didn't think at any point he actually went over the sideline.

Perhaps not.. but that is something a ref would never be able to prove, so a drop kick or a general kick.. it was STILL a kick sorry. It was just pure million to one luck it turned into a try thats all. Just like it was pure million to one luck Gasnier wasnt given more ball to run over Utai ;-)

Anyone remember that game against Brisbane back in the Brownie days, when some player, can't remember who, dropped the ball cold attacking on Brisbane's line and it got the slightest touch on his foot which resulted in us scoring.. distinctly remember Phil Gould saying he'll jump out of the commentary box if it was awarded.. don't know what he would have been saying last night but i can imagine it being quite the opposite seeing as it was his lovechild that Benji did it

They make it up as they go nothing surprises me anymore remember the Anasta try last year in the GF how Soward was ruled to have played at the ball whilst tackling Lulia.

It was against Newcastle.

And Gould ended up jizzing everywhere over Marshall's brilliance. Couldn't believe it when I got home from the game to watch the replay and they were saying how freakish Benji is. He dropped the bloody ball, there was no skill in it, he got a bullshit call afforded to him by the officials.
Imagine if Benji had of done the pass to Nighty that Soward gave for our 2nd try, it would be replayed for 10 years.

Yep, you're right, it was Newcastle.

f**k me dead, Gould is a deadset prick of the highest order.. a 1st grade five-eighth completely misses the ball when trying to kick and he gets praised? Benji can do no wrong in the media's eyes.. Exactly, Soward's work leading to the Nightingale try was incredible but of course i'm sure he didn't get much praise at all for it.

Oh well, we're used to it by now..

Thanks, what I meant was that they use these rules to justify some dud decisions though but they are the rules, accepted. I've seen too many in my time it's just a lottery not just Saints games either.

"Benji can do no wrong in the media's eyes"...hey..he gets his criticism don't worry about that and has done throughout his career...of course he made an embarrassing blunder but did you notice his instant rteaction to making it?..what would most players have done after that miskick..they would have drooped with their head in their hands and yelled out F--K! for the TV audience...instead in about .2 of a second he has it back and is already locked into scoring a try...by the time he'd moved a metre the miskick was already ancient history in his mind and he was in full confidence attack mode...if you've watched a few Tigers games over the past 9 years you would have seen him score quite a few of those deadset nothing more than lucky tries after taking the wrong "professional" option in the first place...being able to turn crap into strawberries is a handy ability..Slater..B Stewart also come to mind there

Not worth the effort and i'm too busy watching the highlights of St George fail.
Soward really sucked in the 2nd half but hey, blame the touch judge you merkin.

Where did i blame the touch judge???
Soward sucked and the tigers won, but i still don't see how that changes your existence from f**kstick to hero??? I don't even know you and im never going to meet you but your still a f**kwit...
