Vettel got the exact same time, how often does that happen!

Hopefully RB are as on the ball tomorrow as they were to get him out first for Q3. As long as he gets a decent start the clear air once Rosberg flies off into the distance will help fend off the Ferraris.

No need for DRS on this circuit, seems to be making it a little to easy to pass with plenty of track to length to spare.

Redbull was a shitbox during the race. Makes Ricciardos qualifying achievement all that more impressive. Unusual for the Redbull's to eat their tyres like that.

Anyone else notice Vettel & Perez joking around post-race? Rosberg stood around like an outsider.

Rb seem clueless on tyre strategy this year. Even the race Max won, he had to baby the tyres for an age.

They were OK when they got onto the mediums. 3 practice sessions & millions of dollars and dozens of pommy bell-ends just isn't enough to know this. The days of blokes who just work this out from experience are long long gone in F1. Look to speedway or drag racing for this type of know-how.

Looks like a track that will provide great races in years to come.

A bit of weather and this race in Austria is very interesting. Ferrari are strong.

Qualifying went down to the wire. Hulkenberg the standout.

You mean the same strategy as Ricciardo?

Last few races Vestappen has had better race pace than Ric, a little worrying.

Max just seems better at managing his tyres.
Ricciardo just seemed off the pace all weekend, so to pick up a 5th in those circumstances is a good thing. Damage limitations on the weekends you aren't up to pace is a huge key in any motorsport

Ricciardo is wearing his tyres out faster, which is unusual for him.
Ricciardo is more aggressive. He sits in slip streams a lot longer, hits curbs harder etc.

He's also known as a late braker. All this points towards him wearing his tires more quickly
