Meh. Should look at their backroom staff before Wenger. That many injuries at once is horrid.

Their January window killed them. Reliant on a striker who is a handy second striker, but not one who should lead the line. Not sure how much of that was Wenger, how much of it was the others around him.

A portion of the blame for injuries can also go to Wenger. Refusing to build a deeper squad means more players are pushed to their physical limit and break down. Walcott, Ramsey and Ozil were all playing too many minutes.

Please, tell me how taking 7th placed Liverpool to title favouritism within 2 years is not genius. No team has ever come from outside the top 4 to win the title the following year, because it's f**king hard, yet Rodgers has so nearly achieved it. Being a genius is not defined by how many medals you have, it's about your relative impact.

Inter and Milan have been in a decline for a while now. City and Chelsea have been on the rise this year. Even Arsenal were on the rise for albeit half a season.The Premier league has much bigger, richer clubs to fight with Liverpool.
