On the BBC they were saying that City could have to play three games in the final week. No idea if that's true but if it is that could be disastrous for them.

It's feasible

If they make the CL quarters, it takes away a couple of midweek opportunities to play their catchup games

The worst possible scenario for them league-wise would be to draw tonight and knock out Barcelona

Wigan has upset City again!

Hull/Sheff U (Sat 12/4) and Arsenal/Wigan (Sun 13/4) are the semis.

If the Goners f**k it up from here they'll never win a trophy.

These results also mean that 7th in the PL is meaningless.

We're raging hot favourites to win the FA cup!!!!

We've already beaten 3 teams better than our remaining opponents. If we can beat Spurs, Liverpool and Everton we can beat Wigan, Sheffield and Hull.

180 minutes from cup glory.

I hope the Sheffield United win it. They're a good club who deserve some luck.

It would be quite the fairytale

They would have to back themselves to get over Hull, given that they've already knocked out two PL clubs

What is this rubbish about this adding to our schedule?

We're about to be knocked out of the Champions League and it is an FA cup semi.

After March we're not going to have any more than 1 game per week including the cup semi and final.

The cup semis are on April 12 and 13. Arsenal is scheduled to play Wet Sham on that weekend, so you'll have to reschedule

It should be just like a midweek training run for you though

The Blades have certainly turned things around

Ten wins in a row before this morning's goalless draw at Preston. Nine consecutive clean sheets in the league. And thirteen hours of football without conceding a goal

Should be a great match against Hull

We're in the FA cup final!

One hand on the trophy.

Ideally Wenger retires on a high with a glorious cup win.

No he isn't. Not anymore.

Our budget dwarfs Liverpool and Everton and they're teaching us lessons in the league. We don't properly watch tape of our opponents before we play them. We have no tactical flexibility. And don't get me started on our use of the transfer window. Not doing more in January is unjustifiable. Not doing more last summer is almost as bad.

Wenger was a visionary 20 years ago. Wenger is and always will be an Arsenal legend. But that doesn't mean he's the best possible manager for us now.

Yep, only gotta look at Kenny Dalglish and Liverpool for a parallel to back you up. He was the best man for the job 24 years ago, didn't turn out he was a couple of years ago, but nevertheless, still a massive legend.

Meh. Should look at their backroom staff before Wenger. That many injuries at once is horrid.

Their January window killed them. Reliant on a striker who is a handy second striker, but not one who should lead the line. Not sure how much of that was Wenger, how much of it was the others around him.

I don't want to sound like Toovey, but there really should be an investigation into the rehabilitation of injured players.

It's not the injuries themselves, but how long it takes for players to get back on the field, especially muscle type injuries.

Ramsey for example was meant to be out for 4 weeks, that turned out to be 3 months. This situation happens far too often.

I'm confident if he was back sooner, we would've at least been safer in the top 4, rather than relying on Everton to drop points.
