Good report mate. Nice to hear the club and the players can do something positive despite what the death riders say.
Yep, those death riders... gotta watch out for them on here. :sarcasm:

They even worm their way into Fan Day threads, ffs. What? Oh...

On topic, glad it seems like it was a good day for those who went along.

It's a sensitive topic for you is it? Would not know why it would be as you're a beaken of positiveness which radiates whenever you grace us with your comments. You're so positive bartman:thumb

Jake, it's hardly sensitive at all... just taking the piss out of the paranoia about "death riders".

Of course I don't care what judgements you (or anyone else) makes about my forum persona based on posts past present or future - why would I, it's just a footy forum!

On topic... glad it seems like it was a good day for those who went along. Well done to those responsible.

I thought it was a great day. Lots of things for all ages to do. Free stuff, food, drinks, membership people, the supporter shop caravan plus the BGA HQ was open. The celebrity game was funny. It was great to see some club legends there also in Steve (Zip Zip man) Ella,Eric Grothe Snr, Mickey Vella and Captain Cayless. I found it hard to complain about but am not surprised that people will be upset.... Can't please everyone.

So they should put on a good day, people work hard for their money and live for their football, the club need to be appreciative of this, alot of people do not have alot going for them in life, and turn to their team for time out (tho with parra very hard) and forget about their trouble if only for a short while, once again its great most people walked away enjoying themselves, at the same time I dont think it is asking alot of the players, tis their job and clearly did it reasonably well yesterday.
