Hi, my name is Hazem El Masri. I make my wife cover her body from head to toe when outside the house and she is not allowed to lay a finger on other men, even to shake hands.

I don't drink though so I am a great role model.

Sooo.......El Masri forces his wife to do those things?

I would of thought with her Muslim religion she would have been quite compliant.........

f**kwit #2.

Have a read of the link that was posted in reply to you and don't make comments out of such sheer breathtaking ignorance.

Why the f**k do moderators let proper threads get trolled by idiots who aren't even trying to pretend they're not trolling. There's entire threads dedicated to trolling, there should be better control of proper threads.

If every player was like Hazem El Masri, Rugby League would be so much better off. If every player treated his wife the way he does, and not the way several other players in the headlines have, Rugby League would be better off. The El Masris are the perfect rolemodels for Footy players, WAGs, Muslim Australians and basically all kids out there.

And Arwa is pretty hot too...nothing wrong with that.

I thought his not aiding police in an investigation was a bit precious.
I don't have a problem with anything else though.

I didn't say she was a prisoner, and she is quite clearly covered all over barring her face and hands in that pic.

All muslim men have forced that lifestyle on their wives/daughters/sisters. The only reason they want to wear it is because it is drilled into them from birth that they have to to be a good muslim.

Either way, there are literally hundreds of non-drinking NRL players from over the years. Hell there are probably over 100 playing in the NRL today given the amount of mormans in the league these days.... and none of them have got lawyers involved because a police officer dared ask them for ID at 4am in the morning while in the vicinity of a break and enter.

If Hazem is a role model, then the bar is not being set all that high.

On the aiding police thing, he would have had to have a bat, and he's against it.

Why would he have to have a bat to get a swab from the inside of his cheek?

He just didn't want to cooperate with the investigation, as is his legal right to do so (although if it were me I'd have taken the test immediately and got my name cleared away from that whole mess ASAP)

Your ignorance is painful to read. Not all muslim women wear a scarf. El Masri's wife didn't wear one until she was 23. And what she is wearing is completely different to a burka. What she is wearing is little more than a scarf, something I see non muslim women wearing every day of the week.

And that's besides the point anyway. Noone is making her wear one, she chooses to wear one, she didn't even grow up wearing one.

In conclusion, you're an idiot.

And you say you didn't call her a prisoner, then you follow that up by making an ignorant generalisation about "all muslim men" forcing that on their women. Which is basically calling her a prisoner.

I was once on a plane next to a muslim couple. Husband and wife. And I overheard him telling her he wishes she didn't wear a burka because he wanted to show off her beauty.

Not all muslim men are dictator husbands. And not all muslim women simply obey their husbands

All over barring her face and hands..........so in other words she was dressed. Is that it....?

The country must have a lot more Muslims running around than we think. I see women wearing jeans and jumpers, hoodies and scarves all the time in winter........some aren't even showing their hands. THEY'RE WEARING GLOVES !!

Those poor, poor women, being forced to dress like that by their evil Muslim husbands

Moron.

All muslim men have forced that lifestyle on their wives/daughters/sisters. The only reason they want to wear it is because it is drilled into them from birth that they have to to be a good muslim.

Just stop. You are talking through your arse.

Go peddle your hate and prejudice somewhere else.
