I did the NRL.com fantasy league last year and thought it was awesome. Anyone else do that one?
 i need to wash my hands.
kogsy's mob is going to get a damn good molesting by my mob.
any decision on which site we are doing?
someone mind answering my Q's on the nrl.com fantasy league.
What is the scoring system like.?
Is there a salery cap?
Is it like, say only 1 team in the comp can have Greg Inglis?
Can we have our own private comps?
Is It Free?
http://nrl.virtualsports.com.au/ - That is the NRL one.
http://league.virtualsports.com.au/ - This is the Virtual Sports one which is very similar to Sportal. Its where only tries, goals and win pts count.
http://www.nearlynrl.com/preseason.asp - Nearly NRL. My favourite but it costs $50 for a Private comp. I paid for one last year for a few of the boys at The Colosseum. Had lots of fun as you could sledge a lot.
Only Nearly NRL and to get everyone in the same comp you need to pay for it. You get a salary cap and once everyone joins the bidding usually starts 48hrs after that (so its a good idea to ensure that it starts in the evening so most people have a shot).
Reason being is once someone makes the first bid on a player, only he will know the exact time the bidding will end. If someone else bids on that player it comes up that he will make a decision in the next few days or if that player's decision will be made at lets say 2.30pm (they go to the highest bidder) then the player who bid second is just told "Player 'X' will make his decision today".
There are some advantages to being the first bidder. As an example lets say I have made bids on Glenn Stewart and Anthony Laffranchi. I might be the first bidder on Laffranchi and miss him. If thats the case then I can increase my bid on Stewart and nobody else will know that as I will have more money to spend and I will want to get one of those guys (if possible).
By clicking on a player you can see how many people are bidding on him. However you can't see who is bidding or how much they are bidding. Sometimes you can work it out as you can click on a team and it shows how many players they are bidding on. At the start its useless but during the season it can help. As an example I might be bidding on lets say Greg Inglis. One other team is bidding on him so I can click on each team and figure out who it is. After that I might find that they only have $200K left in their salary cap so I can just bid $201K and get that person....but I had someone do that to me but when I knew the bidding was nearly over I sold a player and with that extra $30K cash I increased my bid at the last minute and got my player.
Maybe I should keep these tips to myself![]()

Mate, out of those 3, which one allows for a player to play for one team, and one team only ?
IMO this is the most important feature.
