Elsewhere on Twitter there are some stories about an NRL player not a million miles from this thread who said that PM Gillard needed to "get a noose" for her birthday. Very ironic if true. A lot of effort apparently afoot to uncover this particular tweet.

 True Bottle.

Who said you couldn't get anything useful about civil liberties on a rugby league forum.
Hutty helped me find Jesus. A bit off topic but it has changed my life.

I'm feeling unstalked and unloved Fire. Where are you

An aversion to wikipedia also indicates a complete illiteracy to the internet.

Are you disputing that the definition of trolling on wikipedia is incorrect? If not, stfu please.

I don't want to hear about cultural marxism or w/e right-wing fruit loop views you have about wikipedia

Some Wikipedia editors have the power to delete entries when it doesn't fit their personal beliefs or agendas.

From my experience is that of Kim Dabelstein Petersen, a librarian from Munich, Germany, who is so pro-global warming, it is beyond belief. Up until last year, when Wikipedia booted him, he deleted and changed entries made by some prominent scientists and other significant persons who disagreed with his mantra....made them look stupid.

f**k Wikipedia and all its cronyism and nepotism.

Farah is doing a favour to the NRL by portraying himself as somebody the bleeding hearts can sympathise with. This will do great things for the publicity of the NRL for women, schools and children et al.

Still, massive pussy, chill out you idiot.

Twitter is a promotional tool - if you put yourself up for public critic then you should bear it all - the price you pay i am sorry but that is life

The guy that wrote it will get caught up by his own karma or mental condition - what he has done is wrong and he's probably deficient in some way or another and that to me is his punishment

no need to sook to the government - next we will get into trouble here for calling someone a "merkin"

Can't wait for Farah to be on the cover of New Idea and Woman's Day, while negotiating a gig on 60 Minutes and A Current Affair with Tracy Slimeshaw.

Poor bleeding heart.....f**k off Farah!!

seriously... i think we are all being a little insensitive. i agree this isnt a job for the police. we need a higher power that can touch peoples lives. i think we sometimes forget this person in our day to day lives. some people even think this person is no longer is relevant in this day and age. personally i think oprah is still important and im sure we would all get a farah-ha moment! :D

He just settled a defamation suit of a court on Monday ffs.

He thinks its fine to bag the shit out of someone as long as you pay them for it.

He is not cranky that Godwyn Gretch called him a wife beater, he is cranky he cant sue

I don't think insults on twitter deserve the attention of the prime minister. I simply think people who tweet with the abhorrentness of the original message deserve punishment.

Don't push the freedom of speech barrow then tell me to f**k up.

What's an appropriate punishment for being nasty to a celebrity on the internet?

FMD, there is some classless pieces of trash in this thread

exhibit A...

So if someone said nasty & vile things about your deceased mum, you would put up with it and not do anything. It just shows what a pathetic person you really are.
