If Potter is sacked then Farah got his way. Simple.
If Payten isn't sacked then that's another strike.

Lets just see who survives and who stays before coming to a conclusion.

Seriously dude - what the f**k are you talking about. Potter has had 2 crappy seasons and the board are going to make the decision.

Your comment above is completely meaningless.

Can you read all the board members minds and that is how you came to your conclusion ? If not yet again you are speaking bullshit.

Its just blah blah to me.
Potter had a crap season mainly due to injury and the rest is because He was being white anted from every angle.
His assistants, the captain all didn't approve of his tenure. It made Mayer go out and get Brian Smith to do a review.

Are you that deluded to think Potter was given a fair go?

This is what I call deluded. You are making this up. Delusions are when you make stuff up. Its what you are doing.

He is the first grade coach so of course he has been given a fair go whatever that means. In stating that I would resign him for another 2 years because I don't think he has been that bad and personally I think he represents the club really well.

Basically I don't blame Potter for having a crappy end to the season. If he goes he is a scapegoat but so is anyone that gets pissed off. The point being that the whole team had a crappy end to the season.

In saying that I can understand the board getting rid of him. They need to send a message that success is expected.

How can you have success as a coach when your assistants want your job and the captain isn't supporting you?
Robbie wrote him 18 months ago without giving him a season. That's not a fair shot.
He should have had his assistants of his choosing. Not the crumbs left by Sheens.

Farah is the biggest hypocrite and sook in the game today. His narcissistic personality is tearing the club apart. It's just a shame he is so damn talented.

shame? He has been carrying this club for near a decade.

Can't believe some of you are hating on the bloke.

So you are saying a bloke can't change his mind?

That's not a fair shot.

Sure can change your mind but be honest about it.
He should have owned up to talking to Tallis but has now changed his mind as it was said 18 months ago. End of a nothing story.
But he lied and sulked, even blamed Mayer at the end of it for not having his back.
Our season suffered on the back of that decision to deny.
The incident where he back doored after a loss was weak and I don't think that's captain material leaving the boys in the dressing rooms.

Whatever I beaten it to death. Lets see what happens come 2015.

He probably figured it'd blow over if he didn't react to it. Tallis kept pushing it til Farah had no option but defend himself.
But he lied and sulked, even blamed Mayer at the end of it for not having his back.
Mayer deserved some blame though. he could've stepped in and put this shit to bed, like any good leader would do. Instead he just sat on his hands and let the shit spiral out of control. People believing some dimwitted boofheads 18 month old drivel as being relevant today are what forced farah to defend himself. He was actively avoiding the media to try and make this shitstorm go away, which I believe is the right course of action. By constantly speaking about it, it becomes a bigger issue. Farah and Potter had said prior to Tallis' old news that there was no issue between players and the coach. Yet you and many others prefer to believe dickhead Tallis over Farah. You choose to blame Farah over Mayer. Mayer should have pulled Farah into line. Mayer should have spoken up immediately and put this shit to bed. Mayer should have announced Potter would see out the season prior to the Dragons game. Mayer failed a shit tonne more than Farah did. If Mayer had've told the press that Potter would see out his contract prior to that Dragons game, this shit would not have festered on for as long as it did. and that's a fact.
Our season suffered on the back of that decision to deny.
bullshit.

I agree. But that's where Mayer should have pulled him into line. But he didn't. Then Farah went on the footy show. Mayer failed to control his players.

Whatever I beaten it to death. Lets see what happens come 2015.
You and many others are adamant that this is entirely Farah's fault. Yes he acted poorly, yes he handled the situation poorly.

But Mayer is the bloke steering the ship. he could've taken control of the situation very early on and he did nothing for weeks,

The place leaks info to the media like a sieve. Mayer again does nothing to stop that.

Farah was the only person in the club showing any remnants of leadership to that point and so all the media attention went on him, which he failed to deal with professionally.

I haven't been paying much attention over the last few weeks since the Potter shafting as I was a bit over our club TBH.

But did I see correctly a report on Fox that Jason Taylor had asked Farah to withdraw from Aus rep duty to concentrate on the offseason with WT?

Surely this would have been a private conversation and does this mean that someone is already undermining Taylor and leaking crap to the media?

Or maybe they could have made it all up? :sarcasm:

BTW - Farah has every right to say bugger off to JT - I would. But how does this end up in the press?

I'm pretty sure the article said that it was Jason Taylor himself that told the media.

Whole issue has been twisted out of context by the media looking for a negative angle.

The issue was about recovery time regarding upcoming surgery. f**kin media filth.

Thanks for that fellas.

Report I saw certainly gave it a different spin.

No wonder these players treat the media the way they do. Scumbags.
