Outstanding list there Mark B. You've got 2 John Carpenter classics but I would add They Live. Love Slap Shot and the Hanson Brothers as well.

BTLC and the Thing for me.

EDIT as a yella fella it was mindblowing watching a Hollywood movie with majority Asian cast. I washed that film to death.

The Big Steal IMHO is one of the top five funniest Australian movies made. It just makes you laugh. Steve Bisley as the used car salesman/villain is one of the most classic characters. “I’m Gordon Farkas”( as he introduces himself at the front of the dealership with his picture and the name Geoff Mullens Motors on the advertising billboard) When this is pointed out by Ben Mendolsen’s character he straight away reply’s, “Oh, Geoff Mullens is the boss, I m just better lookin” Classic dodgy used car salesman. Great flick.

was a great movie.
Flopped at the Movies but did very well as a rental.

Always thought Bogus Journey was an underappreciated sequel. Took the franchise in strange and wonderful directions. Quotable as f**k, with a gnarly soundtrack that straddled the changing musical landscape of the time.

Definitely, you could even argue that in many ways it was superior to the original.

It kills me My daughter refuses to watch Tom Cruise flicks.

Just hates the man \ having never met him. Grrrrr.

I am no fan of him as a human, but ffs It is acting, and he has some good flicks.

This is a girl who had a Hellraiser Pinhead doll as she loved that movie as a 4 year old.

But Cruisr is the devil.....kids......

She is 30 now.
