maybe more of a punk feel (especially in the 70's) but deserving of a mention in a metal thread

Rock 'n Roll band (as lemmy himself puts it) but a very influential band indeed as far as metal is concerend. Read Lemmy's autobiography a while back, pretty good read. He's an intelligent dude.

Love Judas Priest but not a huge fan of Angel of Retribution. Painkiller, Defenders of the Faith, and Screaming For Vengeance are their best imo. Painkiller is my favourite, every song is fantastic imo

Good call there, I reckon there is pretty much no song in it you could classify as some lame filler.

Been cranking a bit of Kreator today, Enemy of God in particular \m/
