The same old gets thrown up"lost S Rogers to the Dragons",M Rogers to union"Ferguson to the Raiders"Peachey to Souths"Peachey to Penrith""Fifita to the dogs and Lichaa" etc etc.
The predictable response "It's the end of the world'That's it for me""the club is stuffed".
How about we chill out ,and yes I hate losing decent players to other clubs or codes,and realise in reality we follow a club more so these days than an individual player.
We lost yesterday by playing fairly ordinary(especially Fifita) to a team,that won by an intercept.Out team was minus Lewis,Carney,Toupu,Ryan,whereas the Tits had a full complement.
Losing Carney is a big minus for any game.
The world hasn't fallen in.Support the club, yes criticise the players if they don't perform,we have had enough crap thrown at us for the last 15 months to fill a sewer treatment plant.We are resilient(been knocked down more one cares to remember),we own our ground,the Shire loves the team ,support the club not skewer them.
Negativity breeds more negativity.Funny when we get a win,then the whining stops.
If Fifita has gone as reported than we must have $800,000 pa to throw around,despite at present no front sponsor and ASADa still hanging around.I reckon Glenn Stewart from Manly who not only can offload but is also a backup merchant would be a good buy.Retain the best of the u20s. Why not chase Hoffman from the Donkeys,he wants out.
